I been rambling here
I been rambling there
I traverse cross Equestria I ramble everywhere
I rambled since my donkey heart got broken in two
Matilda, I ramble for you
You know I ain't no stranger to the Cranky Doodle Blues
But I haven't met defeat
Though I've walked each country mile
And every city street
I've walked everywhere where there's sun and moon above
I ramble for Matilda - my love
I trekked to Appleoosa
Through the dust and dirt and hay
Was blinded in Manehattan
By the lights of old Broadway
I trudge through every season
Straight through ice and heat and dew
Matilda, I do it for you.
You know I ain't no stranger to the Cranky Doodle Blues
But I haven't met defeat
Though I'v walked each country mile
And every city street
One thing that makes me cranky
And gets my whole life down
Are these nights without Matilda
That make me frown
[Make me frown.
I feel a frown coming on.]
No Matilda here
No Matilda there
I've rambled 'cross Equestria, and she ain't nowhere
I'll ramble into Ponyville
Towing memories of when
When I thought I'd see Matilda again

This album is a solid 7/10. I love the old-school music in there, but some of the songs just feel like random melodies plastered everywhere. This is the beginnings of Ponies At Dawn though, and their artists have improved massively over the years so I'm glad we still have a relic from their collection! cherriesarelit
